Shopping
The
crafts are definitely one of the most important activities in this region, the production is
based on the most varied
materials like: shells, palo chino, choya and cardon (different type of cactus wood),
palm tree material is used to elaborate baskets, figures and carpets. You can find it
all in Cabo, from original designs and swim wear to art galleries and top jewelry where you
will fascinate with the Mexican fire opals and their immense variety of tonalities.
Do not miss a visit to The Glass Factory,
watch glass blowing and buy some original blown glass pieces.
Walking on our streets is inviting and safe, in both towns day or night. |

Explore Todos Santos.
At Valle
Del Pilar, surrounded by fruit orchards and lots of
palm trees is Todos Santos with an excellent weather, colonial style architecture and an
interesting history. |
|

|
|

|
|
Conveniently
Situated in the middle way between La Paz and Cabo San Lucas, it
happens to be a very visited town by local and foreign tourists.
Visiting Todos Santos is an experience of
culture very well represented by the Manuel Marquez De Leon theater and
Casa de la Cultura.

Do
not miss lunch or dinner at Restaurant Santa Fe, this
picturesque and original restaurant is operated directly by the owner family and specializes
in Italian Food.
It was opened on December 11, 1990;
“But local markets were missing some ingredients and fresh veggies that I needed for
my kitchen, so I decided to do my own vegetable garden
and I have it all fresh all the year round”
says Mr. Ezio Colombo.
The menu is varied and
inviting, but the home made pastas really put you in
trouble when trying to decide for lasagna or raviolis.

For
American tourists, the most characteristic place in Todos Santos is
definitely The Hotel California;
it was inspiration of The Eagles for the very well known
Hotel California song, but
fairy tales around it abound. The Hotel California closed it´s doors in
1999 and remained closed during 4 years until new
investors Mr. John Stewart and his partner Mr. Witold Twardoowiski
took the helm on November 2002
for the new opening. One top terrace suite, 13 standard rooms,
resturant, bar and spa all decorated with artistic style are the
facilities that this mystic place will offer to art
and adventure lovers.

Tour to Caduaño, Miraflores &
Santiago.
Explore the hidden wonders of the back
roads and the Baja Desert while riding on an All Terrain Safari type
vehicle, let us take you back in time to admire a display of
fossilized marine animals over 5 million years old, enjoy the desert flora
and fauna in its natural habitat and see how craftsman make beautiful
furniture out of local woods at Miraflores and El Ranchito. |
