











Set at the tip of the Baja Peninsula where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean, Los Cabos is a place abundant of natural riches and extraordinary beauty.

Before the Spanish conquering arrival to the Baja California Peninsula, the population that inhabited this place were of 40,000 persons, they were divided in three groups: Guaycuras (North), Cochimies (Middle) and Pericues (shouthern region).
At the southern point of the Baja Peninsula is the beautiful and historic city of San Jose del Cabo which was considered a point of shelter for the Spanish Galleons, traveling from Manila to Acapulco were frequently suffered attacks by pirate ships; this port became very important for the transpacific navigation since navigators recognized it by the flowing fresh water springs found here.
At the beginning of the twenty century Cabo San Lucas started as a fishing Village; In 1923 a floating factory was installed here to exploit and pack tuna fish. This was the first tuna packing plant not only in Los Cabos but all over México, it was the first stone for the new village, later the town of Cabo San Lucas. Years later, the Cia. De Productos Marinos was formerly established becoming a fundamental part of the economy for many decades.
San Jose Del Cabo boasts colonial architecture from the eighteen century and a few historical buildings. Locals and visitors enjoy here a romantic atmosphere, fine art or souvenir shopping and fine restaurants located in restored buildings and charming patios; while Cabo San Lucas has become the Marlin Capital of the World which is combined with the most cosmopolitan nightlife in a place to remember.
These two towns different in history, but equal in culture and environment are connected by the 20 mile Tourist Corridor where you can enjoy of some of the world finest golf, and pristine beaches, the Tourist Corridor is also home of the most upscale resorts of Cabo.
